Language

Includes English language, an introduction to French language, and an optional third language. Phonics, linguistics, grammar and beginning reading are the focus of the language program. Language programs will combine instructional teaching with experience based learning.

Mathematics

A strong math program that uses a combination of hands on guided and independent learning opportunities to experience logic and understand numbers, equations, geometry, spatial sense, standard and non-standard measurement and patterning.

Science & Discovery

A hands-on program that takes the children out of the classroom to experience the changes in nature and to be a contributing member of “Our Earth” kindergarten club. Experiencing cause and effect experiments and life cycles of humans and other animals. Frequent trips will compliment the program.

Dramatic Arts

Participation in school productions, class role play, and uninterrupted free dramatic play opportunities with materials designed to foster imaginative play. Dance, music, and crafts all compliment the dramatic arts program.

Life Skills & Social Studies

Domestic and practical life skills including cooking, building, using tools, growing and processing food, dressing, tying knots, and other self-help skills.

Character Education

Character education including kindness, respect, cooperation, friendship, manners, etc. An extension of Life skills will be implemented into the day-to-day experience of the child.
